Part-Time Service Staff (m/f/d) Wanted!

Starting immediately – 20+ hours/week

Do you love working with people, have strong organizational skills, and are looking for a varied role in an international team?
Then join the Townside Hostel team!

Your Tasks:

✅ Guest Services: Check-in/check-out, advising on activities & attractions, booking management
✅ Front Desk: Phone and in-person guest support, reservations, cash handling
✅ Administration: Maintaining guest data, invoicing, statistics, accounting support
✅ Organization: Coordinating cleaning staff, ordering supplies, event planning
✅ Teamwork: Close collaboration to ensure smooth hostel operations

Your Profile:

✔ Vocational training in hospitality or equivalent experience
✔ Service-oriented and friendly – even in stressful situations
✔ Strong organizational skills for structured and reliable work
✔ Language skills: Excellent German and good English (written & spoken)
✔ IT skills: MS Office (Excel, Word), ideally experience with booking systems (e.g., 3RPMS, SiteMinder)
✔ Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts (including weekends/holidays)
✔ Bonus: Interest in social media and desire to help shape our online presence

Are you a hands-on all-rounder who enjoys keeping our hostel in top shape?
Then join the Townside Hostel Bremen – where guests become friends!

Your Tasks:

🔧 Repairs: Fixing beds, minor furniture repairs
💡 Electrical Work: Installing lights, connecting TVs, solving minor electrical issues
🎨 Painting: Touch-ups, small renovations
🚗 Outdoor Area: Maintaining the parking lot, ensuring cleanliness
🏠 All-Round Support: Anything that comes up in the hostel – from A for “waste disposal” to Z for “room maintenance”

Your Profile:

✔ Practical skills – You’re a doer who tackles problems head-on
✔ Basic knowledge of electrical and painting work – No fear of lamps, brushes, or toolboxes
✔ Independent work style – You see what needs to be done and do it reliably
✔ Flexibility: Willingness to step in when needed (e.g., for urgent repairs)
✔ Team player mentality – You enjoy working in a team and communicate clearly
